With PayPal, you can send money to anyone with an email address. Here’s how: Click Send & Request. Select a recipient or enter the recipient's name, email or mobile number. Click Next. If this is a new recipient, click Sending to a friend or Paying for an item or service. Enter the amount and the currency you want to send. You have the option to add a note to the recipient. Select your shipping address if relevant. Click Continue. Select your payment method. Review the amount and click Send Money Now. We’ll send the recipient an email letting them know that you sent them money. If they don’t have a PayPal account, we explain how to sign up for one. If you'd like to send money to friends and family abroad, here’s how: Click Send & Request. Click the More tab. Click Send Money under "Send Money Overseas". Enter an email address, mobile number or name. Enter the amount and the currency you want to send and click Next. Add a note if you wish and click Continue. Select your payment method. Click Send Money Now. When you send money, we use your PayPal balance first. If you don’t have enough money in your PayPal balance, we’ll use the payment method you select.
